Miss Evelyn Delfus, daughter of Mrs. Theresa Delfus of Gordon Street, became the bride of George Buickerood, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. George Buickerood of Amboy avenue, Woodbridge, at the Simpson M.E. church here Sunday night. Rev. E.W. Brinkman performed the ceremony at 8:30 o'clock.
The bride was attired in white silk crepe with matching accessories and had a corsage of white bridal roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Ethel Buickerood, sister of the bridegroom, was gowned in light blue crepe with matching accessories and had a corsage of tea roses.
Serving as best man was Arthur Sears of this city.
A reception held at the Buickerood residence in Woodbridge followed the wedding ceremony. Guests were present from: Staten Island, Bound Brook, Woodbridge and this city.
Mr. Buickerood and his bride will reside termporality at the Delfus home in Gordon street.
